Learning Material
PCE uses different components for learning, which include:

Self-explanatory study material
Audio-visual materials, relevant films
Lecture recordings of experts in the field
Visual collage of community level events
Interactive multimedia CD-ROM
 
Bulletin Board Service
• It provides a virtual platform for interaction.
• Forum for learner-instructor interaction
• Learners get to know each other
• Learners learn important updates about the course
• Learners post their queries
• Learners can also respond to other people’s queries
• Learners argue discussion points/responses put forward by other learners

Assignments
During the 3-month period for the courses, the learner is expected to do 3 assignments. The first assignment is a reflection paper that helps the faculty to understand each learners understanding of the subject and the study material. The second assignment is a case-study analysis. The third assignment is project work wherein the learners are expected to make a project on the subject in relevance to their individual surroundings and experiences. This assignment enables the learner to put his / her learning from the course into practical applications.
 
Grading
A certificate will be awarded upon successful completion of a programme of study, determined on the basis of performance and evaluation of the 3 assignments submitted by the learner and online participation throughout the course.
